Bio

Samika Prupas is a designer and artist based in Montréal, Canada. Her main practices are publication design, photography and stained glass. She has a love for storytelling, image making, pushing the boundaries of a medium, and working with her hands. Her work often explores themes of memory, nostalgia, family, archives, the imaginary, the ephemeral, roots, light, nature, etc. She holds a BFA with distinction in Design from Concordia University and was passed down the craft of stained glass from her mom. She uses all of her mom’s old materials, or found glass to make her stained glass works.
